Educational visit at Water Treatment Plant
Axis Colleges organized an insightful visit to the Kanpur Water Treatment Plant for its pharmacy students as part of their curriculum. The visit, held on 25 April 2025, provided students with valuable knowledge on sustainable solutions for wastewater treatment.
During the visit, the students learned about the intricacies of wastewater treatment, including primary, secondary, and tertiary stages. They also gained insights into key water parameters such as BOD, COD, DO, TDS, and turbidity.
The students discovered the innovative process of producing methane from solid sludge, contributing to the prevention of water pollution and preservation of public health.
