Students from Axis Institute of Pharmacy and Axis Institute of Higher Education (Department of Life Sciences) had an enriching and knowledge-packed educational visit to ICAR–Indian Institute of Pulses Research (IIPR), Kanpur.
During the visit, students explored various research divisions of IIPR including the Crop Improvement Division, Division of Plant Biotechnology, Division of Crop Production, Division of Crop Protection, and Basic Sciences Division. Experts at IIPR guided the students through ongoing innovative research on different pulse crops such as chickpea, pigeon pea, lentil, field pea, urdbean, mungbean, and others.
Students gained valuable insights into advanced breeding techniques, plant disease management, biotechnology applications, and sustainable crop production practices.
