Practical training on sophisticated instruments
Learning by Doing!
The B.Pharm and Life Sciences students of Axis Institute of Pharmacy enhanced their practical knowledge through an enriching hands-on training session at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scientific Research Center, Kanpur. During the visit, students gained valuable exposure to advanced analytical instruments, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), and Microplate Readers, which are widely used in pharmaceutical research, quality analysis, and life sciences.
The training provided students with the opportunity to understand the working principles, applications, and operation of these sophisticated technologies under expert guidance. By engaging directly with modern laboratory equipment, they strengthened their analytical, technical, and research skills while connecting classroom concepts with real-world scientific practices.
This experiential learning initiative broadened students' understanding of contemporary research methodologies and highlighted the significance of precision, innovation, and quality in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Such industrial and research exposure plays a vital role in preparing students for successful careers in academia, research organizations, healthcare, and the pharmaceutical industry, reinforcing the institute's commitment to excellence through practical, industry-oriented education.
