World Cancer Day
You know,once you've stood up to cancer Everything else feels like a pretty easy fight. David.H.Koch Pharmakon Society of Axis Colleges under Axis institute of Pharmacy has organized a visit for Pharmacy Scholars on occasion of World Cancer Day (October 4th,2023)
Theme: "Close the care gap"
As per the theme stated "Close the care gap" which means understanding the inequities in cancer care,The visit was held at J.K. Cancer Hospital at Kanpur for Pharmacy scholars where they have distributed fruit baskets for 110 Cancer patients as a support to them.
In the Scenario, Dr. S.N. Prasad Director of J.K. Cancer Hospital spread awareness about the cancer's cause,symptoms,treatment and precautions mainly about Breast cancer,Mouth cancer and Uterus cancer which are highly spreading nowadays and appreciated the students for their support and motivation towards the cancer patients.
Axis always encourages their scholars for the welfare activities of the society and spreading knowledge about disease outbreaks which enable students to better serve society.
